My Adventure tank started life as an Australian Leopard 1A3 retired from service when the country switched to Abrams. It was in pretty good shape, and really only needed paint and standard maintenance. Since I take it to Cape Cod, and occasionally Provincetown, I added a big magnetic sign to the back and sides that reads 'Hybrid' - but I'm not sure the libs are buying it.. I also added one to the underside in case I accidentally Corrie one of them as I make my way down Commercial Street while on my adventure!
I finally got the little lady to go along with letting me buy a one-owner, loaded Abrams. I get my 120mm ammo from DUmoTex, the DUmp's ordnance expert.
The Abrams is sort of brutal on the driveway pavement, but it's a dream to drive, and you sure get a lot of attention cruising through the neighborhood.
It didn't quite fit through my garage door, but it took only a few seconds to widen the door.
