You know. The ones who have now given you a seat at their table.Unlike us. Who only provided you the votes you needed as the price of that seat they gave you.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site
Being called "dude" enrages Stinky. He even ran off crying to ATA and posted a whining rant about it. I don't know what it is about the word, but it's a dog whistle to him. Dude, chill out. Pick your battles.
A dude is an individual, typically male, particularly somebody well dressed or who has never lived outside a big city.
The oldest usage was typically applied to a well-dressed male, or one who is unfamiliar with life outside a large city. These definitions later gave rise to a more technical definition: "an Easterner in the West" (United States). Thus "dude" was used to describe the prude wealthy men of the rustic western expansion of the United States during the 19th century by German settlers of the American Old East
The word became prominent in surfer culture in the early 1960s.
I had to go look it up; franksolich like the sparkling husband primitive is called "dude" all the time, and takes it with grace and class.Hmmm. I'll bet Pedro Picasso, the "Atman" primitive, uses "dude" a lot.

I had to look it up because I wasn't 100% sure the meaning.Maybe 95% sure, but not 100%.It seems to be used on me when I'm upset over something that doesn't seem to upset anybody else.So I guess I was pretty close.
More generally, it is often used as a flag in conversation to signal that "What I'm about to say may sound critical of what you just said, but I mean you no ill will," or in lieu of phrases like "Well, just speaking man-to-man here, but..." or even "Oh my."
Now have your last word and run along.
Jesus he is an idiot! Never, ever, ever, ever tell someone online that something bothers or insults you
You know, what really pisses me off is when people send me money in small bills. I hate getting cash in the mail. It's so insulting!
