Time for another vacation?

The Congress just returned from their week off for Memorial Day. They have been back in Washington for 2 or 3 weeks and have accomplished absolutely nothing. Why do they even return?

Next weekend, they will begin their 4th of July vacation. Unlike you, who might get a day off for the holiday, Congress will once again take a whole week or more.

When they return, they will have another 2 or 3 weeks in which they can do nothing. Then they go on their long vacation. They will take off the entire month of August. Then they will go on their "real" vacations - to Paris, to Rome, to Greece, and other exotic places.

Then they will return in time to get nothing done once again.

It must be nice to get such a great vacation schedule and excellent healthcare, too?

Yet when 0bama takes time off not a peep.
I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

Nope.

Much like spending, they only have a problem when Republicans do it.  400 billion deficit?  IMPEACH!!!!  $1.6 Trillion in a single year?  Who, me?

They're clowns.  Any time they bring up spending, it's always "we could be spending the same money - and then some - on something else".  It's never "we need to cut spending or we'll be in trouble".  Never.
If you want to worship an orange pile of garbage with a reckless disregard for everything, get on down to Arbys & try our loaded curly fries.
