I can only imagine the feelings of our troops in the field today in the midst of being used as pawns by Soetoro.
Announcing with great fanfare his planned troop draw downs as he ignores his generals and awkwardly tries posing as the man in charge, the great victor with all the answers. The hero commander.
What a complete asshat.
After all we have invested in Afghanistan. After all we have gained and built there. After all the American blood sacrificed there. He ignores our best and brightest, our Generals and Admirals -the real heroes- who caution that much is left to do before we may assess the job as done, this asshat throws all of that under the bus and broadcasts to the enemy that we are leaving.
I saw some of that speech on the news this afternoon but as usual I didn't pay much attention as it was Barry talking and I quite frankly can't stomach his voice or the sight of his face. I did however notice the faces of the soldiers behind him and I commented to the wife, "look at all these troops behind him. No one is smiling. These folks likely just spent 15 hours on a jet and want to see their families but no, they have to wait for this clown to show up and be used as the backdrop for a canned campaign speech".
Getting facts like that wrong is inexcusable but hey, it's all about YOU ain't it, Barry?
