Release of Sarah Palin emails angers US conservatives
Source: The Guardian
Rightwingers accuse media of vendetta against possible Republican nominee and ask why Obama was not targeted too
• Read the emails and help catalogue them

The release of the Sarah Palin emails has provoked a backlash from grassroots conservatives accusing major US newspapers and the Guardian of engaging in a vendetta against the former Alaska governor and possible presidential candidate.
More than 24,000 emails from her time as governor were made public on Friday under freedom of information.
Conservatives bombarded newspapers, rightwing websites and other media outlets with complaints that Palin had been singled out for special treatment and that other politicians were not being subjected to the same level of scrutiny, in particular Barack Obama.
Greta Van Susteren, a Fox News journalist and one of the few members of the media trusted by Palin, labelled the treatment of Palin "a media colonoscopy" and suggested some news organisations were on "a mission to destroy".

@ the fact they're getting this upset over the release of these heavily redacted emails and the real tooth and nail fighting for the 2012 Republican nomination hasn't even started yet.

This is the same media that didn't even bother reading Obama's resume, much less do any investigation. Now they are all over emails from a couple of years ago, hoping like hell to find one thing they can use against her. When they don't find anything, they are going to speculate about the emails that were not released.

4. Angry over Thatcher snub. Angry over Palin emails. Angry over everything.
They're always angry because they can't survive honest criticism of their dishonest ideas and agenda.
If they're ever forced to join the real world and face genuine peer and public scrutiny they'd be rendered extinct within minutes.

Yeah this coming from the goons who scream RACIST!!!!11111 at the top of their lungs when anyone dares say Obama is wrong.
The only scrutiny that 0bama faced was from "hate radio" the media that is going through Palin's laundry hamper had no interest in finding out anything about 0bama.

2. the fact is that this goes back to 2008 and it has taken 3 years to get them
released. she hasn't been singled out. she was the vp nominee in 2008. it might seem that way to these idiots, but that's because someone told them to think that.
Then let's get 0bama's emails and enlist readers to try to find some dirt in them too.

5. All part of the "teaparty" worldview
Fearful, paranoid, with inferority and persecution complexes run amok. They love their fellow flag waving, God-using, pistol-packin' phonies. Like Ollie North, for instance....
And the phony part seems to be a strong requirement, for a whole pile of reasons that make me want to lose breakfast.

34. Boo-Freakin-Hoo
What are they so afraid of?
The lies that will be coming out about the missing emails perhaps.
I'm confident that after the goons are done combing through all the emails the most they will find is a couple of misspelled words or wrong punctuation. So they will harp on the missing emails and claim that the plans to the death star are in them.
