Won't happen here either... he wouldn't even make it to my house. Us Mountaineers take an  extremely dim view of people that come on our property uninvited. If the doggies don't get him, the neighbors will.

I'm actully planning on working in my garden and with my critters and building a few rods. Other things like hunting and fishing to suplement my retirment. Amazing the stark difference between us and them!

Well that's a good point; if you're able-bodied enough to do a crafty B & E, stuffing the silver in a duffel bag, escaping without notice, being clever enough to find a fence to monetize the loot, then you're able-bodied enough to work.  Come to think of it, if you're able to post at the DUmp, you're able to do a lot of otherwise productive things.  It's like a desk job, isn't it? 

It's a nice portrait of a democrat, though.  Give Me Free Stuff or I Will Take.

At 70 I would say that your "crooked-hipped ass" should have done a better job of retirement planning instead of expecting other people to take care of you.
