No.  Actually, I've never run across anyone of any race that said or did anything that seemed racist.  Of course, I've spent a lot of my life in Kansas and Nebraska...I'm sure we have some racists around here, just not many.  But then, I've never lived in any of our larger cities, where the Democrats tend to congregate.

What do you call the African tribes who hack each other to pieces with machetes? I guess they're Republicans.
And how about the rival factions in the muslim cult who massacre each other at every opportunity? I guess they're Republican, too.
But there's no form of racism worse than disagreeing with the jug-eared Kenyan.

I have another incident, about a year before we moved we were hanging out at a friends playing a game where the spouse had to guess the other spouses answer. The question was who would you have an affair with or who would you want to marry if you weren't with your partner or something like that. I had to say who my husband would have an affair with (Sandra Bullock - I was right) and I wrote down that I wanted Lenny Kravitz.  :-)  My husband didn't guess Lenny but after I said it he remembered my lust for him.

A friend of ours, not really a friend but rather a friend of a friend (who seemed to always be around when we had our couples nights, her husband never says much btw) went friggen crazy. She actually said the N word and said her view of me changed.  She also said she would disown her daughter if any one of them (she has two) married a black man (she didn't use to term black man) and that if one of her kids started wanting to date a black kid while living under their roof they would move.  :mental:  I told her that her comments changed my view of her (I said more than that but that was the general gist of it).  She just stared at me blankly and blinked her eyes and said "SO".

My husband said something about it being time to go home and we left. My good friend called me the next day and said the other chick was drinking blah blah blah and made excuses for her. I said there was no excuse that she could come up with that would change my view of her.   It was never brought back up again. I know that this couple were at a couple other parties we were at after "the incident" but it didn't stop me from being friends with my other friends.  I just ignored her.

She also believes in global warming...not that that means anything. I'm fairly certain she didn't vote for Obama because of the whole racist thing but I have no idea if she is a dem or a republican.

I know quite a few people--I'm pretty friendly, after all--so I would say that I do, but I probably don't know it.  I have quite an ecletic mix of friends, too, ranging from raving lefty moonbats (who I don't associate with much anymore) to ultra right people, and moderates and more center-right people, and people whose political leanings I have no true idea of (neighbors, generally).

I am friends with racists.  The biggest one I know is a union member Obama voter.  I am not sure which makes me more sick between the two.

I said no, because although I have prejudiced friends, I don't know any of them that are racist.  With that being said, your post reminded me of my brother's sister's brother in law.  He is all of the above and a bag of chips.  He isn't my friend though.

R.I.P. LC and Crockspot.  Miss you guys.
