Two more Americans died in Iraq yesterday. They were killed in combat, not crossing the street hit by a bus.
Do any Americans remember the Iraq war anymore? You know, that war we were in. The one back when, oh maybe 'bout seven or eight years ago? Bush's war. Ya, that one. (

It's over, right? Brought the troops home? That's what Glorious Comrade Leader campaigned on. "Stop Bush's wars" and a big fat wet group hug in Times Square on election night. So we were told with a big fat lame stream fireworks show ad nauseum of the whole works.
The war in Iraq ain't over folks. Matter of fact, Barry increased troop levels there and in Afghanistan during his first six months in office raising troop levels in both countries above what Bush ever sent there. Mighty quiet on the media front though, like it never happened. Then a while later, as we all know, the Iraq war was declared over, no more shooting going on there, whew!
But Barry kept sending troops.
The lame stream media quit sending cameras.
The shooting went on. (still is).
I am not against the war in Iraq. I am against the lies, the ignorance and the deception.
When G.W. landed a plane on an aircraft carrier and declared the major part of the mission was over with the lame stream media had a field day. Big jokes all around. For months.
As a little kid in the early 70's I can remember seeing Walter Cronkite on our black and white t.v. every night watching the evening news with my Dad in our living room saying how many Americans died in Viet Nam today. They never missed a day reporting that. Remember when our casualties in Iraq hit such milestones as "1000 Americans killed in Iraq", "Two thousand Americans killed in Iraq"? Time magazine was licking their lips in anticipation, leading up to each of those marks, they loved every minute of it. They relished in it and savored it.
Who is keeping track now? Did our boys stop dieing over there? Must be. Seems nobody wants to talk abut it anymore. G.W. put a stop to flag draped American coffins being shown on the news. Obama rescinded that and a few were shown. So? Where's the fanfare? Where's the parade of death that we should expect?
Oh, I forgot, it stopped because the Big O said it did.
Ever notice that since Glorious Comrade Leader said that something went away that really didn't the media has gone right along with him?

Now "Mr. Vote For Me And I Will End The Wars" has become the world's foremost warmonger, launching a new campaign in Libya, on his own, in defiance of Congress and much of world opinion.
I'm still trying to figure out how the Nobel Peace Prize fits into the whole scheme of things that way.
