The WSJ reported that some Jewish donors that normally would give to Obama are sounding warning bells.  A DUmmie reponds thusly:

I side with Israel on this, actually I can never see myself siding with the Palestinians on everything. I'm furious about this and this is the nicest thing I can say.

You know, one thing you never hear mentioned about the 1967 war is the wide spread slaughter of men, women and children by the Muslims as they crossed over the border and entered Israel in '67.

Since the '67 War started with an Israeli surprise attack (Which they had good reason to launch), and they pretty much kept the initiative the entire time, I'm curious about exactly which of the three fronts you're talking about on this.

Sorry for chiming in here after it went three pages.

Just a thought without having read every single post in this party.

This comes to mind; American Jews as a voting block have always lined up solidly behind the Democrats. America has always been solidly behind Israel since its birth, and played no small role in that birth.

Now along comes "I am NOT a Muslim" Soetoro and he kicks the Jews right in the nuts and pretty much stomps on the whole sand castle at a time when the surrounding perils facing Israel are at a fever pitch.

Where do you suppose the American Jewish vote might go in '12 in light of this?

Think "Chuck Schumer."  I'm not optimistic about it.  It seems that their Liberal values, desire for a European-style social system (The archetypical case of people demanding what they were fleeing from once they settle in their new home), and Democrat Party power seem to trump Israel for an awful lot of them.  It will help the GOP some, but I wouldn't overestimate it.

Consider this. The New York Times is owned by a jewish family. Has been as long as I know of. This same paper supported Hitler throughout the war. Is this news? Not really. But that is not the answer. This is: Jews are infamously/ historically liberal. Since old testament times. If you read history this has always been a problem for them - as 'a people'. Netanyahu at AIPAC

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke at the AIPAC policy conference yesterday and previewed his speech to the joint session of Congress today. The text of his AIPAC speech is posted here.     It's time to stop blaming Israel for all of the region's problems. Let me stress one thing.

    It will not give women is some Arab countries in the Middle East the right to drive a car. It will not prevent Churches from being bombed. It will not keep journalists out of jail. What will change all this? One word.

    I mean Freedom of Speech. Freedom of the Press. Freedom of Assembly.

    Israel is not what's wrong about the Middle East.

Netanyahu immediately followed up with a statement of the essence of the dispute that somehow escapes President Obama:

    Israel wants peace because we know the pain of terror and the agony of war.

    We want peace because we know the blessings peace could bring to us and to our Palestinian neighbors.

    But if we hope to advance peace with the Palestinians, then it is time that we admitted another truth.

    This conflict has raged for nearly a century because the Palestinians refuse to end it.

    They refuse to accept the Jewish state.

    This is what this conflict has always been about.
