This afternoon I had a very long chat with a local police officer from our heavily-repuke county.
Our son was involved in a fender bender, but afterwards the police woman and I had a long chat. We got to talking about risks officers face ever day on the job, and how the public here in FL is always complaining about how early they retire (you try being a cop for 30 years out on the beat, it takes a real toll on the body even after 20 years). She said this (and it's paraphrased but hopefully is correct), "XX County is one of the most conservative counties in this state. Pretty much most all of our buddies and coworkers vote republican in each election, and they did in the last election. But you can't say the name of Rick Scott in our office without someone spitting swearwords at the same time. We have one of the healthiest pension plans in the US, yet he has decided to target us just because it is easier to take from us because we have nowhere left to go, then he turns around and gives that money which we earned and risked our lives for to the rich corporations who just leave this state when they have sucked us dry."

I empathized with her and urged to her to remember that next time at the polls, but also warned her that she should keep speaking out. I said it was obvious from day 1 that Rick Scott had our working class people on his shit list and didn't care about the real people of Florida who are the backbone of the communities. She agreed and said that there was a real change of view with regard to how the sheriff's dept. and even FHP will probably vote next election.

These teabagging jerks have screwed over the wrong people and they will NOT forget come 2012!

The cop had a lot of time to shoot the breeze. DUmmy dappleganger has the usual DUmmy trait of perfect recall, but also a total lack of ability to write believable dialogue.

2. My worry is that with the support of the corporations the Repugs
Will basically buy elections from now on.

That is why we need to make sure the truth gets out.

4. Then they are going to learn about that, too, aren't they?
Keeping one's head in the sand for 30 years exacts an unpleasant awakening toll.

And by the way, that's a big-ass '86 Park Avenue. The hood is a different color, but it's still luxury on wheels.

11. Someone asked me once to define human nature.
I was unable to do so satisfactorily.

I am not surprised. After all, you're a DUmmy.

12. I could never wrap my head around that. Cops voting...Republican?? Here in SoCal
it's the same thing! The majority vote Republican. It's as if they believe their union and their salaries are above those of other union workers who are fighting for fair salaries and job security.

If anything, the fire dept., the police dept., the military...all civil servants with the best pay, pensions, fringe benefits, and deals, should vote Democratic. After Reagan, it's been clear to everyone and anyone who cared to pay attention, that the repukes have ONE goal only: to serve their corporate masters and to force the rest of us into servitude.
Nah, like most repukes, I'm happy with just keeping Dump democrats in servitude, and making money.

Democrats can't forget about weed. They should all be Paultards.

14. They vote re-thug
They feel its all right to human beings in cages over our evil drug laws. They love private prison's ect. I say what goes around comes around. In my county in central Cali a simple jailers job pays almost seventy grand a year.

Something tells me DUmmy mountainlionnumbers has spent some time as a guest of the state.

20. I think Rick Scott is the best thing for the Florida Democratic Party in a long time.
It's painful to watch and endure right now, but I think Dems will be strengthened long term.

First they support the assassination of a terrorist.  Now they are supporting COPS?  What's next, thinking people should be able to keep what they earn?

Oh and another thing, this cop had to be a woman. The DUmmie wanted to make sure to post a non sexest bouncy.

It occurs to me that I've never once heard a person in real life complain that the government is taking away (our) money to give it to "rich corporations".  I see people saying it fairly regularly on the 'net and in the press, but not once has anyone ever said that to my face.

I don't live in an exceptionally conservative town or in a particularly conservative part of the country.

What I do hear is people complaining that the government is taking their money away and wasting it and / or giving it to ingrates and useless bludgers.

One of the fatal flaws in these bouncies is that, no matter what part of the country the encounter took place, the conservative always speaks in the vernacular of a northern liberal.

A Floridian would never refer to a "corporation" in casual speech. We call 'em, "cump'nies." Neither would we say, "spitting swear words." It's, "cussin'."

At least try to get it right, DUmbasses.

So my family should vote for the party that put millions of military families on the welfare rolls and used us as pawns when it came down to paychecks a month ago? Clinton and Obama both threw the military under the bus when it came to paying them. It was Bush and the republican controlled congress that finally brought military pay up to level with every one else. Still less than the average civilian government employee but we are not standing in line at the food banks anymore.
So DUmmy tell me why I should vote against my own interest?

Dandi, that's a very good point!   :lmao:  "Corporation" is the evil word of the year, according to the Talking Points, so it has to be worked into the bouncy.  Is it working?  Is it resonating with anybody?  I never hear anyone bitch about "corporations."  They happen to sell useful things and make useful jobs.  This rage of theirs is utterly bewildering to me.

If the democrat party was in total control, nothing would be illegal and the police wouldn't be needed. Somebody has to clean up the trash in the park.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

Was it not just a few short years ago under the Bush Prosperity where the most evil of all corporations was McDonalds?  That corporation was hell bent on killing it's customers with their product, food. Now under the great Unicorn Rider, McDonalds is the finest of corporate citizens for generating a semi-good jobs report by hiring 60,000 jobs. Jobs that under the Bush Prosperity were again, the worst of all jobs.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

It's harder to "wrap your head around" (I hate that stupid idiom) the idea that cops would share the political allegiance of the scum they battle every day.

If these DUmbass moonbats hate these "repuke" counties and areas, why in the hell are they still there? Why do so many leave the urban hellholes to move there? Don't like it? Then GTFO.
NAMBLA is a left-wing organization.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Now, now . . . Team 6 just tried to get Osama to "wrap his head around" the idea that he was gonna die.  Although they may not have been able to get the cocksucker's head to go "around" that idea, they changed the shape of his head . . .  :cheersmate:

If only everyone that worked in government had the same pay scale as the military. IMO everyone from the president to the 2 people chatting behind the counter at the DMV shouldn't earn more than the men and women who put their asses on the line every single day.
