absolutely not
But at the end of the day who could have imagined such a major stride with a bill that barely covers 5 months of government spending and the GOP dodged being called extremists.
More importantly it signals just how much the dems gave up out of fear of a government shut down and the threat they might be tarred as the extremists.
Reid and Obama didn't even have a counter-proposal to Ryan's plan until today when Obama announced he would take the Simpson-Bowles deficit commission plan, prop it up on a broom handle and call it his own.

4) his liberal base calls it the cat food commission, so he has already lost them and the indies have no reason to choose his cat food over Ryan's dog food
We are dangerously close to advancing on the enemy's capital. Our 2 greatest threats from here are our hubris and their desperation but we have them on the run.
