Damn, just a few more miles and you would have been home free...

According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

Mmmmmmm...Randy's.  Got one of their coffee mugs on my desk.  Inglewood, corner of LaCienega and Manchester...who cares if they can barely pass their health inspections?

Meh. When you're selling doughnuts, why would you give a shit about passing health inspections?

I got on my bike today (it's set up as a home trainer) Considering that I haven't had any significant exercise in three years, I did OK. I definitely need to do some adjusting on it. With my back and legs in the sad shape they are, I was lucky to even be able get on it. (It's a TALL bike) I did six minutes @ 120 RPM. (pedal RPM) Getting off of it was little cumbersome, but I managed.

I'm using this as a trainer:

And this is like my bike:

A winter full of donuts is indeed kicking my butt.  I got a call of some kids riding their 4-wheelers in the street and I was about a mile off.  I rode hard and was pretty gassed when I got there.  The complainant looked at me all puzzled and asked, "How are you gonna catch them on that?"  I sternly replied, "Sir, are you calling me fat?"  I had to laugh to relieve him of that pained look he had on his face.   :lmao:

Believe it or not, it's never affected it.  Riding hunched over keeps the pressure off my spine.  When I'm in peak riding form (usually around June), I knock out 40-50 miles per day and it doesn't even phase my back.  It's why I ride a sport bike.  I tried riding a cruiser, but sitting straight up destroyed me.  It's all in riding position.
