Murderer Pleads Guilty In Exchange For KFC
« on: March 23, 2011, 04:26:57 PM »

Quote
For two years, a Brooklyn thug sat in an Oregon jail awaiting trial for a coldblooded murder, and all the fat felon could think about was food - a bucket of greasy chicken, a mouthful of lasagna, a slice of pizza.

So when prosecutors offered to buy Tremayne Durham, 36, a fast-food buffet in exchange for a guilty plea that would land him behind bars, likely for the rest of his life, he bit right in.

The 275-pound convicted rapist admitted he had shot a man to death over a failed business deal in June 2006.

Durham was sentenced Wednesday to life behind bars with a chance for parole in 30 years after pleading guilty last month to aggravated murder for Adam Calbreath's brutal slaying.

Stereotypes are true, I guess...

This guy better enjoy that KFC in solitary. Otherwise, HE'S liable to get raped, and get it stolen.

Oh no, I'm white and I LOVE KFC chicken.  Of course, I grew up mostly in the South so perhaps it was that factor which caused my lifelong adoration of greasy goodness. :-)

The Doublicious, and the original Famous Bowl are my two favorites. The one in town used to have Teriyaki chicken too, but got rid of it about a year ago. :censored:

Sounds like he was in jail and had been for the past two years at least, either unable to make bail or doing time for previous convictions like the rapes mentioned.  Makes it kinda tough to go through the ol' drive-thru.

I have tried Bojangles and Popeyes and for some reason don't care for either.  If I can't have KFC, I am a happy camper with Church's though. :yum:

KFC, hands down.  I've tried Church's and Bojangles, and I can make the same thing at home.  Popeyes is okay but not great.

Bojangles does have awesome french fries.

I can feel my coronary arteries loading up with plaque every time I eat Popeye's.  Haven't had it in almost five years, though, and the amount of aspirin I've had to clear said arteries has been quite the bunch.  I've gotta go get some Popeye's again soon. :yahoo:

Popeye's used to be good, and probably still is in Mississippi (AWESOME onion rings). It's not so great here. KFC is awesome. Hardee's used to have great chicken.

Must.  Have.  Spicy.  Popeye's.

Although I'll probably never have it again, Grandy's fried chicken was better still.  And their chicken fried steaks...

Oh my word, Churches fried chicken was to die for, just twice a year as the grease just rolled down the chin.

Virginia and North Carolina BBQ, pulled pork with cold slaw and green hot sauce in a bun------YUMMMMMM

Popeyes has the best biskits and sausage gravy I ever had and the dinners that made chicken fried steak and pork chops would leave me asleep in an hour.
