Man buys TV at Walmart and successfully avoids receipt checking at door

Causing such a scene at a Wal-mart...so stupid.

Up here they only ask to see receipts for big things like TV's and if the alarm goes off which IMO is reasonable. I'm sure it's much like that for much of the US too. This guy was simply an idiot.

This is a textbook example of how not to behave when asked for your receipt at a store's exit. According to the Bradenton, Florida police, a 22-year-old woman tried to leave a Walmart with 43 items she hadn't paid for, worth a total of $211. When asked for her receipt, she went on a destructive rampage, causing more than $1,000 worth of damage to merchandise. She also punched and spat on store employees, and hit a manager with a bar stool from inside her cart. Police officers discovered marijuana in her purse, and she has been charged with, among other things, aggravated assault and battery.

I'm old as the hills but the little old ladies checking receipts at out Wally World are all older than me....being as ass and causing them a problem would make me feel as though I had disrespected my dear departed grandmother and God forbid I ever do that.

Someone said 10 seconds to check a receipt...usually takes about  two seconds to get mine checked. I hardly stop walking.

Yep way to support the poor working folks that you guys say you love so much.
My God, yes it can be annoying when asked to present your receipt, but an adult will comply and then move on. In fact some of us are smart enough to have the receipt in hand when walking out in order to make the wally world greeter's job a bit easier.

On the flip side if they didn't check for deadbeats, you goons would be the first to complain about higher prices to make up for the DUmmies who rob them blind.

The things that gets the DUmmies up in arms is just incredible. Then again they are the ones so oppressed by Christians yet, support radical Islam.

Wonder what would happen if a rich DUmmie like Cal Pig were to host a fancy dinner party and someone tried to leave with their pockets stuffed with her finest silver? Would it be appropriate for her to accost the guest at the door?

I keep mine out.  The checker sees it, and I don't have to break stride.  Everyone's happier that way.

That's me. The cashier usually puts the receipt in the bag and I get it out before I get to the checker.
