You would think she would gladly donate that money either to the US treasury or send Bobo a few bucks.

So Pam thanks the Kenyan that she can pay a credit card? Under Dubya, she went on cruises, bought Coach (not franksolich) purses, bought Holli a car, and the skinhead got a Glock. She even got free treatment for her gut rot. Hell, when the brother-in-law's family lost everything in a house fire, Pam put them up for one night at Motel 6, with a pizza coupon. I don't recall her gratitude being expressed to President Bush for all that prosperity.

Uh, didn't she use her tax refund the past few years to go on cruises?   I thought she already paid off her credit cards?

Look at the bright side EC, you may have had to pay in but, someone who doesn't even have a job got a couple grand from the IRS thanks to the EITC.  :-)

Pisses me off too that they take money from us working folks and hand it over to those who wouldn't know a hard days work if it bit them.

8. I know it is not really a refund, but after having to owe for so long it is cool

I used to teach summer school but haven't for a couple years due to my health. That was our vacation (cruise) money.

Maybe with this jumpstart, we will be able to knock out some bills, remodel our bathrooms and then get back to cruising.

Please post pics as we love to see pics of a happy couple. A post card would be nice too.

DUmbjeep says...but enough to pay off a credit card....not "the" credit card but "a" credit card...wonder how many she has maxed out?

Must have come from Obama's stash.  Seriously, sounds like they padded contributions, etc., in order to drive down the taxable income.  Careful there, Pam, the IRS sees a big jump in charitable contributions and it's a big juicy red flag for them to do an audit, and if you don't have receipts or canceled checks for even the cash and small contributions, they'll hammer ya.

Oh, and notice that she's more concerned with going on another cruise than paying for her daughter's wedding?  Very touching, Pam.  Really.

Thanks, madam; I rowed the boat over to Pitcairn Island and looked at it.

It seems the Pitcairn Islanders think she's as much a fraud as we do.

However, I got a bone to pick.

The Pitcairn Islanders talk about "stalking," mostly in reference to the late lamented Tangerine La Bamba "stalking" the greenbriar primitive, but there's a few mentions of us (although the Pitcairn Islanders have it wrong; CC is not CU), one allegation that one of our members "stalked" the greenbriar primitive.

Bullshit.

I have no idea what the primitive (or the Pitcairn Islander) definition of "stalking" is, but it doesn't seem to coincide, even remotely, with the standard dictionary definition of "stalking."

Reading comments is not "stalking."

If reading comments were "stalking," I guess I stalked Audrey Meadows and T. E. Lawrence this past weekend, because I read books by them.

Commenting on something one has read is not "stalking."

If commenting on something one has read is "stalking," I guess the people who write for the New York Times Review of Books are "stalking" particular authors of books because they're commenting on books they've read.

This is so picayune that if I had ears, primitive (and Pitcairn Islander) complaints about "stalking" would go in one ear and out the other.

Bah humbug.

I dunno if this feature is visible to members who aren't moderators or administrators, but there's a page here that shows who's here, including guests, and what thread they're reading at the moment.  Generally, 24/7/365, there is at least one guest reading a short story by franksolich, sometimes more than one guest.  There's always someone here reading something franksolich wrote, recently or a long time ago.

By the primitive and Pitcairn Islander definition of "stalking," I guess I'm being stalked.

Which of course is more manure than the entire Jungfrau-like William Rivers Pitt in front of the house here; no one is "stalking" franksolich.  They're just reading him, nothing more than that.

Dear DUmmies--let me give you a couple of examples of Internet "stalking":

--A certain SCC poster who calls my work HR department claiming I'M the one stalking and threatening her based on the fact that she didn't like what I had to say about her and her delusional support of Ron Paul.

--Another certain SCC poster who looked up my political donations and from that found my address, a pic of my home, and how long it took me to get to/from work based on driving several different routes, among other things.

Both of these bitches were leftist hags, despite the former's claim to be a "true conservative" (and holy shit, where have we heard THAT before?)  Bottom line--you ****ers project much?

--And let's not get into the other former SCC poster (who signed up here for all of ONE post) who daily threatened to call the state police for "death threats made against him" by generically stating, "some people just need killing."  Well, guilty conscience much, Cooj?

**** all you ****ing ****ers, ya ****s.

Based on Pam's reports, Holli is involved in some kind of time travel. You may recall that she went from her high school prom, to getting married as a junior in college, in only 12 months. By now, over a year later, Holli's likely to have kids in school, so maybe greenbriar should be using the money for their school clothes.

In a quick check, I only find one photo of the happy couple :

Do you happen to recall what she gave the drunk for their anniversary? I do. Mrs Dawson gave a detailed account of her plans. Romantic homemade dinner followed by a joining of the bodies. She was hoping for a second encounter.
