I just did a google search of this site with greenbriar to find her old cruise posts and this popped up -- has this been posted already?:

Thanks, madam; I rowed the boat over to Pitcairn Island and looked at it.
It seems the Pitcairn Islanders think she's as much a fraud as we do.
However, I got a bone to pick.
The Pitcairn Islanders talk about "stalking," mostly in reference to the late lamented Tangerine La Bamba "stalking" the greenbriar primitive, but there's a few mentions of us (although the Pitcairn Islanders have it wrong; CC is
not CU), one allegation that one of our members "stalked" the greenbriar primitive.
Bullshit.
I have no idea what the primitive (or the Pitcairn Islander) definition of "stalking" is, but it doesn't seem to coincide, even remotely, with the standard dictionary definition of "stalking."
Reading comments is not "stalking."
If reading comments were "stalking," I guess I stalked Audrey Meadows and T. E. Lawrence this past weekend, because I read books by them.
Commenting on something one has read is not "stalking."
If commenting on something one has read is "stalking," I guess the people who write for the
New York Times Review of Books are "stalking" particular authors of books because they're commenting on books they've read.
This is so picayune that if I had ears, primitive (and Pitcairn Islander) complaints about "stalking" would go in one ear and out the other.
Bah humbug.
I dunno if this feature is visible to members who aren't moderators or administrators, but there's a page here that shows who's here, including guests, and what thread they're reading at the moment. Generally, 24/7/365, there is at least one guest reading a short story by franksolich, sometimes more than one guest. There's always someone here reading something franksolich wrote, recently or a long time ago.
By the primitive and Pitcairn Islander definition of "stalking," I guess I'm being stalked.
Which of course is more manure than the entire
Jungfrau-like William Rivers Pitt in front of the house here; no one is "stalking" franksolich. They're just reading him, nothing more than that.
