DUmmy Spins A Weak Walgreen's Checkout Bouncy

DUmmy mrmpa, an unknown, faceless member of the squiriming anonymous mass of DUmbasses, spins a remarkably uninspired and listless bouncy tale:

Conversation with clerk @ Walgreen's
I'm not sure how it started, but learned she had to come out of retirement because social security just wasn't enough to live on. I returned with we've got to stop what's going on in Wisconsin, Ohio, etc. because when they're done with unions, it'll be workers comp, social security, minimum wage and health & safety on the job. She looked at me and said that her son says the government is giving people on welfare, cars, gas cards and houses. I told her that son was watching too much Fox news. "That's not true?" she questioned, what hr son had stated. My answer "Duh".

So, what about the other people in line? I'll swan. A bouncy deserves more effort than this.

1. I hope you're response wasn't really, "Duh"

Please, DUmmy eleny, it's a bouncy tale. It didn't happen.

DUmmy numbersForever chimes in with a secondary bouncy, no better than the first:

3. This isn't as weird as it may sound to you. My 78 year-old sister told me the other day that they
should stop the help to the unwed mothers who had boyfriends and lived near her in a HUD building. I asked her if she knew for sure if they were boyfriends or not as some might be family members that were down on their luck, and what would she do with the children in those apartments if they were taken from them? She said stop the men's welfare. I asked her if she knew how hard it is for anyone that is single to get welfare and she said she didn't know. I told her if there weren't any young children in the home then you don't get any help accept food stamps and about $150 a month where we live and that is only for a few months. I suggested a Work Program like we had in the 70's that helped my family out. It was called CETA and it worked very well! I think if we profess to be religious and follow the teaching's to help those in need we need to work to help those people out who need it and not to make it worse!
Someone needs to help these DUmbasses with their writing. These bouncies are so dense and poorly written it's a chore to read through them.

4. K&R- Back in the '80's, the accepted truth on the Right was that
people on welfare drove cadillacs and lived in idle luxury and of course were all minorities.I suppose most right ies don't know that the majority of people on welfare are white females with children, or those who are temporarily sick and/or unable to find a job.

We were on foodstamps after I had several heart attacks and bypass surgery and was unable to work for 7 months. We got a lot of nasty looks from various people when we were shopping, but were able to eat and pay our bills and keep our mortgage payments up.

There is so much meanness and greed and jealousy in this country today.

DUmmy old mark, who a few minutes ago was applauding a mob that had burned a man alive, mourns the meanness in the country.

Why can't DUmmies shop at the Walgreens I do?  That would have been hilarious to hear that conversation, had it really happened.  This is why I always carry my phone (with video features) with me.  It would be nice to record something like this and then upload it to this site to see a real DUmmie in action.
You may call me Jessica or Jess.

What ever happened to quality Bouncy material?  You know, the ones that occur at gas station counters.  Or the ones where the entire store applauds when a Rethug Fundie is converted.  Or where the cop jumps out of the bushes, just because it makes a great tension point in the bullshit.

The word that you are looking for is "except". I make a ton of punctuation, grammar, and spelling mistakes, but I don't claim to be a member of the smartest group on the innerwebz.

Two things here. The first is that those who really are temporarily sick and those who really are unable to find a job have a hard time getting any assistance because of all the deadbeats already sucking at the teet. The second concerns this statement: the majority of people on welfare are white females. Several DUmmies have mentioned this in the last few days. I agree that it is probably correct, but what are the percentages based on the population?

I'm just saddened that the Walgreen's clerk was willing to disbelieve her own son due to ONE stranger saying "Your son shouldn't watch so much Fox News."  Kinda shows a weak parental bond, ya know?

Which could be fulfilled with a bored "Whatever. Next, please."

I remember a big stink from a few years ago. Someone mentioned the number of blacks on welfare...and the liberals jumped to their defense with the "more whites on welfare than blacks" meme. At that time there were 5 million and some few whites on welfare and 5 million and a few less blacks than whites on welfare. BUT what they failed to mention was the fact that there were 5 times as many whites in the country as there were blacks...SO, if you looked at it from that angle, there were 5 times as many blacks as whites on welfare...can't be insulting the democrats voting block.

But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

The whole welfare thing is bullshit.
welfare has not lifted one single person out of poverty that I know of.
All welfare does is give people just enough to live on and then a reason to vote for more dems who promise to throw them a little bit more if only those evil republicans don't stop them.

The poor don't need a few bucks every month coming from the taxpayer. A better way would be to have programs for them to better themselves and become productive people. We should do things such as offer free GED classes for those who didn't graduate funded by the state. Scholarships funded by universities and community colleges in exchange for tax breaks etc for those institutions. And even "free" childcare where all the moms take turns watching the kids in the provided daycare.  Then after they get their degrees and find jobs they can become taxpayers and stop leeching off society. I bet you anything if I offered any of these suggestions at the DUmp they would call me a racist, bigot, homophobe.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

GED classes are free at Kansas Community Colleges.  My daughter just went back to college, her FAFSA grant was nearly double the amount her classes cost.

Kansas community colleges also offer all kinds of scholarships.  My husband teaches music, and the scholarships he hands out for choir students cover tuition, book rental, fees and 1/2 the dorm.  They are fantastic for residents, but out-of-state kids have to cover the difference in fees and tuition.

Going back to college now is far easier than when I did it 25 years ago.  You can actually make a profit...
