What? I can't get mushrooms with that?

D)  Qadaffi staying in power and becoming best friends with Obama.

Not likely, but it would be fun to see the Obamanuts tying themselves in knots trying to justify it.

Why not choice C, then?

How about Qadaffi swinging from a lamp post in front of Hugo Chavez.  :fuelfire:

There are more Obamanuts than Hugonuts at the Island. Although some of the Hugonuts are more extreme.

D)  I say we take off and nuke the whole damned place from orbit.  It's the only way to be sure.

Say what you will about Qaddafi, at least he was marginalized and even ostracized. With the exception of his own Libyans/Arabs, he became a threat to nobody after he had his ass handed to him in 1986 and GWB re-established normal relations with the puke.

With his soon-to-be ouster, it's difficult to say who takes power -- but one thing is for sure, radical Islam is damned likely to throw their hat in the ring.

Radical Islam is what concerns me - not Qaddafi.

Yeah, a thousand-mile wide swath of green glass may be hard on the tires of the trucks bringing in the drilling rigs afterward, but it's no problem at all to drill through.

Hence the reason I voted for option "D".

E)  With Libya becoming part of Texas and all Libyans being forced to learn to line dance to Billy Ray Cyrus songs (can't start them off with current music, gotta start them off with 1992 and ease them into the present)

Now there is "cruel and unusual punishment".

I'm kinda partial to this one.  But, D6's pic is acceptable, too.

And, upthread of your post, we have proof that bunnies are smarter than ptarmigans. :fuelfire:

And, LC, watching anyone dance to BRC's music is "cruel and unusual punishment."

Eupher nailed it, but I'm all for going with LC's plan until something shakes loose.

It's what might be replacing Moo-mar that we have to keep on eye on.

I am going to miss him though, as a source of levity in his media appearances. I thought Imelda Marcos was all that with her shoe collection but she hasn't got anything on Moo-mar. The dude is like a Super Fly maniacal despot, always wowing the crowds with his trend setting fashion sense. He makes Rick James and Bootsy Collins look like rank amateurs.

That's it; I say we nuke Canada from orbit, too.  It seems the infestation of insanity has taken a solid hold there and this is the only way to cleanse it.
