Total suck.  Costs me $32 to fill up my tank, 40 ish miles round trip daily, I fill up once a week.  I'll shut up now.

Gas prices went up today AGAIN!! 3.87 for the mid grade, which the truck requires. Almost at 4 dollars. :argh: :argh:
How does the American economy survive this?!

Gas prices held at $3.69/9 here for a month. For the past week they have been at $3.77/9 for regular.
Diesel is $4.19/9.

I feel bad for everyone in this but especially for the independent owner/operator truckers. Those guys are particularly screwed.

Like Sparky pointed out, the traditional Memorial Day spike isn't even here yet. Going to be lots of "staycations" this year. What really pisses me off is a government agency (EPA) holding so much sway over something that is so vital to this nation. IMHO constantly rising oil prices are a clear and present danger, call it what it is- an enemy.
It's time we killed that sucka, DRILL DRILL DRILL, RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW!

National average at exactly $3.75/gal for regular unleaded today.

At the current monthly rate of increase, it'll be setting the new record by Memorial Day.  The old record price, in case anyone was wondering, was $4.114/gal set on 7/17/2008.
