Not my candidate
« on: February 11, 2011, 07:28:40 AM »
I have seen a few people already say that if "their" candidate doesn't win the nomination they aren't going to vote for a Republican president.  Does anyone here feel that way?

I still have my clothes pin but I'd rather not have to use it.

No, I do not.

Lord Zero, the First Schmuck, has to go. Voting for anybody other than the Republican nominee will ensure his return to the White Mosque.

As distasteful as it is on occasion to look at the Republican candidate and know that he's dripping with RINO-itis, I'm going to have to pull the lever for him/her.

ABOVE ALL -- Zero has to vacate the White Mosque and give the poor bastard who flies AF1 around a well-deserved break.

No, Gina, for the reasons that Eupher states.

JR, the reason I didn't use the clothespin last time was Sarah Palin's presence on the bottom of the ticket.

She was who I was actually voting for last time. I knew what John McCain was.

Yeh, I was voting for Palin last time also cuz I figured McCain would die in office.

I am just so worried that if we don't do this just right, Obama is going to slither back into office.   :(

You get points for using the word slither.

It would take a lot for me to vote for McCain, Romney, Huckabee, Newt.  The only reason I voted for McPain was Sarah.

I will vote for the Republican. Like Euph said, Obama has to go.

same here.

Zero HAS to go though and we need the Senate, too.  I wish I could get a feel on who's going to be up against Menendez here but I haven't seen anything credible yet.

I will not vote for Romney. If the Repubs do not put a real conservative in the WH, I feel we are screwed either way, and we will wind up in the same position as in 2008. The electorate wants to turn this freight train around. A RINO will just make the waters that much murkyer.

The republicans lost the last vestiges of any loyalty I might have had for them when they spiked the governor's race here in Colorado in favor of Pokenpooper.

If they want me to vote for their candy-date, then they'll show me a candy-date who stands for most of the same principles that I do.

The next 4-8 years are going to critical in that area. All the more reason that we weed the RINOs out of the senate, too.

The bigger question is who will be nominated in 2012? I don't see Palin running in 2012. More likely she will probably be the head of the RNC.
