Rush Limbaugh - "Liberals should not be allowed to own guns or have Freedom of Speech"
While most of the country acquiesced to a call for civility on both sides, Mr. Limbaugh upped his hate speech and violent rhetoric, crossing that line proverbial line once more. Most news sources have abstained from playing the blame game any further, but Limbaugh is putting all the blame right on the left wing’s doorstep.
"I’ve got the solution to all this. I’ve got the solution to most crime in America. From this day forward, somebody propose it, liberals should not be allowed to buy guns. It’s just that simple. Liberals should have their speech controlled and not be allowed to buy guns. I mean if we want to get serious about this, if we want to face this head on, we’re gonna have to openly admit, liberals should not be allowed to buy guns, nor should they be allowed to use computer keyboards or typewriters, word processors or e-mails, and they should have their speech controlled. If we did those three or four things, I can’t tell you what a sane, calm, civil, fun-loving society we would have. Take guns out of the possession, out of the hands of liberals, take their typewriters and their keyboards away from ‘em, don’t let ‘em anywhere near a gun, and control their speech. You would wipe out 90% of the crime, 85 to 95% of the hate, and a hundred percent of the lies from society."
Most of his actions are condoned by his fans, saying he’s ‘an entertainer’, however, this has no redeeming qualities of entertainment or humor. If our de facto leader said this, Conservatives would be buying ammo until they’re sold out of stock.

He was being conservative as usual. If not a single liberal had access to a firearm, you would eliminate more like 99% of all gun crime.

We need to publish this everywhere and bombard Ediotrs of all our local newspapers with this. Rush's speech amounts to no less than sedition. Or at least conspiracy to deny civil rights.
The DUmmy doesn't seem to understand that tens of millions listen to Rush. They already know what he's saying, and they agree with him.

12. If you listen to Limbaugh for awhile, you'll notice
that he uses the word "liberal" to describe anything outside a very specific audience's in-group. His definition of "liberal" has very little to with politics. It's anyone who is not a white, Christian, right-wing Republican. That's it. Everything else goes into a single pot, labeled "liberal".
There is no way a right-wing Republican, or a true Christian, could subscribe to the policies of the democrat party, so in a small way DUmmy Marr is right.

Everything he knows he heard on his local right wing radio station and somewhere along the line he learned this little gem.
He told me "you think you're a liberal but you aren't".
My response "I never said I was or wasn't. But what makes you think I'm not".
Him: "You aren't a liberal because you own guns. Liberals are afraid of guns".
Me: "Are you ****ing serious?"

This is what we're up against people. He's a college graduate, Vietnam vet, and was gainfully employed until he retired a few years ago.

Righties who think that Liberals and Democrats 'fear' guns might be astounded to know that many Democrats own and use firearms. I think that last poll figure showed right around half of all self-described Democrats owned a firearm of some type.
I very much doubt that half of all self-described democrats can legally own a firearm.

Rush's first book was "The Way Things Ought To Be"
In academically approved translations of Hitler's speeches from 1923 to 1938, he used the german phrase for "how things should be", "how things ought to be", and "the way things will be" between 1 and 4 times in 95% of the speeches he gave.
So, it's not eerily familiar. He's been parroting Hitler since the early 90's.
It's a simple fact that's been fully documented.
