Demanding an Apology from Senator Linda Lopez (D-AZ)
« on: January 11, 2011, 10:26:52 AM »
I just emailed Senator Lopez, demanding an apology. Her email address is: llopez@azleg.gov and her phone number is 602-926-4089 (office)

Dear Senator Lopez;

I am writing you to demand your apology to ALL of us war veterans. Your false conclusion that Jared Lee Loughner was an Afghanistan war veteran placed ALL of us war veterans in a bad light. You jumped to a conclusion in this instance and your conclusion was patently WRONG! You didn’t wait for the TRUTH to come out, allowed your personal biases to come out and insulted the very people that protect this country! I have grown tired of being stereotyped as a killer and a psycho. There are many of us that feel that we have been wronged by your words. People say that words matter. Yes, they do, especially when it denigrates and entire class of people. I expect a public apology, as do many others.

Regards,

“Thor”
USN(ret)

I hope that you folks will join me in my email campaign.

Thank You! a few of us were here on Sat. and talking in the shoutbox and commented about Linda Lopez's outrageous statements which IMO led to all the finger pointing.

I also emailed Senator Frank Antenori requesting his help in demanding her apology. He was part of the reason that USMILNET, our sister site, was formed.

I'll send a note along tonight, but frankly, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Agree Sparky, these people only fear a you tube video of them in bed with 2 sailors and a goat.

Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

Yeah.  "Mjolnir", would probably garner a better response.  :-)

H5 Thor.
I will pass this on to my friend that has served. I'm sure he will let his voice be heard as well.
