Just For The Kids
« on: April 04, 2008, 09:50:01 AM »

With all the 1st birthday pictures/threads everyone has been posting lately (what the HELL was in the water during the summer of '06?), I thought maybe we should just have a general "Post Pics of Your Kids" thread. There really needn't be a reason to post gratuitous pictures of cute kids, should there? And seems like CC has a bunch of 'em.

(maybe a mod can sticky this thread?)

My and Red October's little one's:

Ian- just turned 1 a few weeks ago:

I don't like stickying the picture threads just because of the goofy lurkers who might be out there. Let them fall when they have worn themselves out. That said, here are my three.

AWWWWWW! Cute Cute Cute!!!!!!!
I can see November 2 from my house!!!

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

My son, on Easter, thinking he is hot stuff drinking sparkling cider from that wine glass.

These kinds of pictures make me nervous, because if there are lurking DUmmies, there are lurking pedophiles...

Thanks, LL! Hannah is the greatest big sis ever, very loving and compassionate. And whenever Ian sees her his face just lights up. It's soooo cute. Of course she might change her tune once he's walking and starts to torture her guts out 24/7 by following her around.  :lmao:

And yep, Red and I are very happily married. I thank the Good Lord every day that He led us both out of prior relationships that were hellish nightmares and brought us together to love one another so completely. I am a very lucky woman.

I just discovered some new pics of my nephew from Easter in my e-mail.  Here is one that just had me in stitches  :lmao:

I'll keep it up for 24 hours, but will delete the link after that.    I usually only share pics via PM, but I thought this picture was absolutely hilarious, so I figured I'd share with everyone.

Thanks.  :)   It seemed like a couple months ago, he was constantly cranky, but these days, it doesn't take much to make him laugh.  My mom was in MS recently, visiting them for St. Patty's Day, and I spoke with her over the phone and could hear him giggling.

It was either her or my brother-in-law who took the photo.  I know they both enjoy photography, especially my sister.

God alone suffices.

I swear, their nature changes when they sit up and can move around.

Whoever thought of putting him in his Dad's pants is pretty clever!
