Ops--operations.  Radcon--radiological controls/radiation protection.

I'm electrical maintenance.  Specifically a relay technician.  Nothing happening that they need me for unless some vital piece of electrical equipment breaks.

Just checked weather websites, including NOAA.  Our nasty period will be around 2-8 am.  No way in HELL I'm going out unless I have to.

And Scoobs, your driveway is about 1/3 the length of mine, but yeah, I'd rather have a snowblower than shovel 200 feet of driveway of 18 inches of heavy drifting snow.

Gotta do what I gotta do...otherwise it ain't gettin' done.

And I don't have all those fancy shmancy hoity toity man toys that you have.

 :fuelfire:

(Yeah, I know, a bitchslap is in order for that, and Yeah, I know, you need the snowblower up there.)

Tots....I hope she got there safely. I was out on the roads this morning, and while bad, they were still driveable. Now, not so much. Blizzard conditions and whiteout driving as of about 2pm this afternoon.

She left at 3:30 am and got home at 12:30.  I will sleep better tonight.  Stay warm!
R.I.P. LC and Crockspot.  Miss you guys.

That's great news, so glad. I can't even imagine trying to drive anywhere along the East Coast right now.

Me neither.  She has been driving up and back, for almost 40 years, but that doesn't mean I don't worry.

got about 15" in southeast Jersey yesterday -- another snow-easter with 40-50 mph wind gusts.  We dug out this morning and by 'we', I mean the 15 yr old son (yay!).  I have today off as well so at least none of us had to get anywhere important today.

Beautiful, sunny day today though!

It was a fluffy snow, so it was easy to shovel.  I decided to do it with my husband and use the guilt later on the kids....mwhahahaha.
