How sad for his little boys, and the rest of his family.
He was a very good actor, as ColonialMarine said, despite his troubles.
And what an awful day to die; it's going to be a sad reminder every year at what should be a happy time.

Holy Crap. That's a Fracked up way to go out. I can only hope he didn't suffer. RIP it was always fun to watch his comidies at the theater and some of his action stuff too.

I'm always curious to see how TV producers and writers handle it when someone dies (or simply leaves) during a show's production.  I know it's not nice, but at least KOTH had already wrapped up when Brittany Murphy died.  Then there was that whole Dukes of Hazard debacle back in the 80's, not to mention Bewitched.
