I'll send a complaint, FOX news has been nothing but over the top with Assange.
Then again Faux news is always crossing the line.
Liberal, eh? Well, in a way this whole wikileaks thing only exposes what liberals really think of human rights or civil liberties or for that matter peace, but we'll come back to the peace part. They mean nothing to liberals and I mean nothing. Liberals have done nothing but dance with glee at the idea that United States and several others took bruises to their reputation from all of this, which seems to be your position. What you are forgetting is this, the names of individuals who wanted to promote human rights and civil liberties in their countries, and were working quietly with the US, were released by Assange. These individuals have now had their lives endangered and much of the effort they have exerted will be destroyed. But hey, you feel good about yourself, and who really cares about some guy in Sudan or Syria, eh.
Now back to the peace part. The cables released information that China was willing to consider a Korea that was united under the government in Seoul, which is a major difference from their public positioning. Since then, the North Korean regime seems to think it has nothing to lose. You think that's just coincidence? I got some ocean front property in Arizona to sell you then.
So let's count up liberal positions. Civil Liberties? Not as important as giving the USA a black eye. Human rights? Not as important as giving the US a black eye. Peace? See the first two. Next time you try to run this country down for it's latest foible while at least trying to do the right thing, at least take a moment to smell your own hypocrisy.
