Four in 10 Americans Believe in Strict Creationism (And we wonder why progress is so slow)
Gallup poll:
Four in 10 Americans, slightly fewer today than in years past, believe God created humans in their present form about 10,000 years ago. Thirty-eight percent believe God guided a process by which humans developed over millions of years from less advanced life forms, while 16%, up slightly from years past, believe humans developed over millions of years, without God's involvement.

I've said it before science takes just as much faith as religion does.
Science is basically man's understanding of how things work. Since everything is based on theories of men and women who were educated by other men and women there is a chance that science could be wrong. Theoretically science can make a discovery that negates everything that scientists thought for the past century or more.
On the other hand science could be correct. I am agnostic and do not put my faith in either theory and will not make fun of those who believe either way. As far as I am concerned both take a leap of faith to believe in. Both ways you take the word of men who wrote books and devised theories. I know some of you will say that the Bible came directly from God and I won't argue that you believe that I just am not convinced. So like the libs preach I choose to live and let live and will not make fun of anyone for their faith.
So how about libs prove that you are open minded like you claim and allow people to put their faith in what they believe without belittling people.
