I needed to refresh my memories of the Andy823 primitive.

14. They are members
Of the democratic party, they are republicans, pure and simple! Sure there are die hard Hillary followers in the group also, but I really think this whole PUMA crap was organized by republicans to tear the party apart. It isn't getting the big following they wanted, but as long as it gets news coverage, they don't care!
I think the Andy823 primitive's an ambulance attendant, or wants to be one.

3. It was to get things done!
The right wing has decided that it was "stop Obama's agenda, not the people! Once again republicans simply make up lies to fit their own "agenda" and try to make it the peoples will, which is nothing more than BS!

1. I couldn't agree more, but...
As long as we have Fox news, Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck, and all the others who spew hate on a daily basis over the air waves, it will never happen!

3. It's a republican tactic
They have convinced the right that the MSM is liberal, and so any negative things in the MSM are simply "LIES" by the "liberal" media. It works, and it is just another tool in the brainwashing process used by the right wing. It is obvious how well it works by all the gullible people they have in the republican party. No matter what the "facts" are if their leaders tell them something they buy it without ever check to see if it's true.

6. I agree, but
How do we get rid of them? Can the president fire them, or are they there no matter what? If there is a way, I would love to see them go!

6. I would put the ALL
Down in the bottom of the outhouses in our state and national parks with a toothbrush cleaning and scrubbing them till they shine. Now maybe I would pump them out first, and then again maybe not!

7. I would love to see Boxer take over for Harry!
After which franksolich's comment:
Babs Boxer and Patty Murray = generally and widely regarded as the two most IQ-challenged people in the U.S. Senate.
But whatever clangs the andy primitive's balls, I guess.

6. You beat me to it.
I couldn't agree more. It makes no sense for gas to be so high, $2.93 today in my town, when oil is only $69 per barrel! It's the greed of the gas companies once again, and congress is doing nothing to stop it. Last year congress said they would do work on stopping the price rise by speculators, but it looks like that was simply a talking point for the election cycle, and now wall street, and big oil are once again trying to screw the public so they can make huge profits!
Congress needs to get tough as hell on this issue, put tough regulations on buying oil and stock piling it, and then trying to manipulate the prices up! If the democrats in congress don't start working on things like this they risk losing seats next year. If they get off their butts, and start really working for the people of this country, we can "increase" seats. This issue, along with health care, should be rallying points for the democrats, and if they do something about these issues, they will benefit greatly in the next election. The only questions is will they?

9. Down 6 cents here
In central Washington state, it's now "only" $4.29 for gas, and diesel came down from $5.13 to $4.99! Not really much of a drop, but as some have said, it will remain high till after labor day. I think a lot of the price dropping is the threat from congress to pass laws that put stiffer regulations into effect on speculators. "IF" it passes, they know they are going to have to change the way they "manipulate" prices. If the price comes down congress may not pass the tougher regulations, and that's what they are hoping for. If tougher regulations are not passed, then we will be back in the same boat next year, or shortly after the election.

1. I think you are right.
I have seen some on the right admit they will not vote for McCain, for various reasons, but Palin "has" caused many to decide not to vote, which really surprised me. Others I am sure will vote for Obama, but will never admit to it. Their "friends" would disown them if they did!

6. They should be blaming Republicans who are trying their best to kill the bill in congress. Until they pass that bill I don't see any great movement "UP" for the tock market, and then It will still be up and down from day to day with no real "huge" gains for some time. Of course a gain of "any kind" will be a welcome sight.
No date on the above, but probably February 9 or 10, 2009.
For no reason other than simple intuition, it seems to franksolich the Andy823 primitive must be a jumpy short little guy, a bantam, with thinning and receding hair.
One wonders how close that image is; I suspect it's reasonably accurate.
