What a great reply to a whiner!
   
The article was about the Census Bureau discussing the economic status of the population.

Here is one of the comments:

Unfortunately, those of us that sacrificed and worked hard to get our degrees and went to grad school are now called rich and have to support the people that execised their freedom of choices, but made bad decisions. Yeah, I am ticked off that I worked my way through college and grad school and now sit in the IRS crosshairs. I am blessed to have a great career and income, but I earmed it and I will never apologise for my success. I feel abused to pay taxes to support the 50% that pays no taxes. They are the very ones screaming about the "rich" paying their fair share. It is all about sour grapes and making bad choices in life.

Here is a great reply:

You'll mellow out with a little age. Not everyone is blessed with the talents you have. Their burden is to suffer, yours is to work hard and share a little. Squeeze some room into your heart for benevolence and grace, you'll live longer.

Hey shit stain they already share more than a little. Depending on which state one lives in a lot of folks get 50% and more taken off the top of the money that they earned. How much will finally be enough for you assholes?

Most low income people work just as hard (or harder) at their jobs. I doubt the guy wants to live longer because he doesn't like paying his high taxes.

Yeah us low income people may work hard but, the govt is nice enough not to take half of our paychecks for now.
If you made a lot of money by working hard you would be pissed when 1/2 of it goes to the govt.

You know, it's funny.  These are the smartest people on the planet, yet can't seem to fathom that conservatives are not against taxes, just excessive taxes for an ever gluttonous government.  They say we need to pay our "fair share" yet they don't pay a dime in taxes.  Oh it comes out of their checks, but then they get it back and then some at the end of the year.  I look at my paycheck and they tell me I need to pay my fair share.  What's their "fair share"?  Or is it my responsibility to have more of a "fair share".  And they have the nerve to call me greedy when I bust my hump working nightshift and overtime so that I can live debt free.  They are the greedy ones and I'm about tired of working my life so they can live.

 Service industry workers in the healthcare industry provided the greatest bang per $ expended. IIRC for every dollar spent on them, they returned about 17 dollars worth of value to the community.

Bankers faired worst. Costing the community overall, 3 (or maybe 30) dollars for every dollar they took home in pay.

"Someone" did the math?  Is that supposed to make you look smart?  "If I Recall Correctly?"  Meaning "I'm making this up." 

 :lmao:  I am 3 (maybe 30) years old.  What's the diff?
