Swiss bank freezes Julian Assange's account

The Swiss post office's bank, PostFinance, has frozen the accounts of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange.

The whistle-blowing website says the freeze includes a defence fund and personal assets worth 31,000 euros ($41,251 USD).

In a statement on its website, PostFinance said Mr Assange had "provided false information regarding his place of residence" during the account opening process.

"(Mr) Assange cannot provide proof of residence in Switzerland and thus does not meet the criteria for a customer relationship with PostFinance. For this reason, PostFinance is entitled to close his account."

Based on the OP, I'd say that was a certainty that the Swiss won't "take" him.

It's certainly interesting to watch the civilized world slowly ostracize this piece of shit garbage. Turned himself in, so the Brits arrest him. Judge in Britain declined bail, so he sits in jail for a week until he's arraigned. Assets frozen. Looks like his travel plans to South America are put on hold for awhile.

The best part is that it's not anyone on the right that is after him its all of the Socialist Democrats in Sweden and other places that want him out of the picture. Both of the women filing the rape charge are far left moonbats like him and the Swedish Government is hardly rock hard Conservative.
