Man Stabs Home Intruder with Sword

FLORIDA – Police are looking for a man accused of a home invasion in Ensley.

The incident happened on Wednesday at around 2:45 pm when police say the resident heard noises in his sister’s bedroom.

The man, armed with a sword, went into the room and found an unidentified man entering through the bedroom window.

The victim yelled at the suspect and attempted to kick him out of the window but the suspect pulled a knife.

The victim was cut several times on the leg but was able to stab the suspect with the sword.

The suspect fell out of the window and began to run away from the house with the sword still in his leg.

Don't take a knife to a sword fight either. 

Good for him.  Use what's available.  I once pummeled an intruder with an 8" cast iron skillet.  He got deported after showing up at a local hospital.

See this is what I don't get. Someone buys one of those cheap ass swords sold in storefronts for less then $100 and then they use it hoping to slice or stab someone when they really need something with a real bite. If your going to use a sword to defend your house at least make the attempt to find one that will do the job. There is a company that makes a tactical wakazashi blade for about $187.00 and it can cut just like the real deal.

Because most of the people that buy those cheap swords are dumbass teenagers who think they're 'ninjuz' or something. 

I feel the same way about the swords they sell at the Renaissance fair.
