With the holidays fast approaching, the Transportation Safety Agency Security Administration has announced new security procedures requiring passengers selected for secondary screening to go through a machine that produces a full body scan producing a nude but grainy, black and white image. Passengers choosing to opt out of the scan will face a full body pat.

The head of Homeland Security has indicated the government is considering the request of an Islamic organization that has suggested Muslim women be allowed to pat themselves down during a full body search that is part of new enhanced procedures at airports.

Since implementing the procedures, numerous complaints have arisen that the search is not a “pat-down” but rather feeling and grabbing along a person’s genitalia and other areas until they meet resistance. Critics have said the pat-downs would be considered sexual assault if performed elsewhere.

The TSA defends the procedures as necessary in light of last years “underwear bomber” and the recent issues involving printer cartridges being used in an attempt to blow up cargo planes.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations, CAIR, has expressed concern with the TSA over the regulations and recommended special procedures for dealing with Muslim women. The organization issued a travel advisory for Muslims over the procedure.

I am surprised the Onion hasn't closed shop yet. Since the Obama admin has taken control nothing they(the Onion) make up can be as silly as the actual things coming from this white house.

What's next Janet? We just let Muslims go directly to the airplane? Maybe we can make airport staff help them lug bombs and weapons on board.
Meanwhile lets frisk 3 year old girls, 50 year old nuns, and 90 year old grandmas who's walkers set off the metal detector.

How many more indignities does this administration have to heap upon the American people before we all stage a massive protest, maybe everyone doesn't show up to work for a day so the welfare cheats and government bums don't get their payola.
I don't give a shit whether or not this policy actually happens or is merely being floated as a trial balloon.  The mere fact that Incompatano is contemplating something so prejudicial to national security should be grounds for her immediate impeachment.  Republican House of Representatives get busy drawing up papers on some of these clowns.  Someone remember your oath of office to protect and defend these United States.

You forgot they give an exemption to the pilots...WHO COULD FLY THE PLANE INTO A BUILDING OR WHATEVER.  why even screen them to begin with.

Not one single terrorist has been stopped by any measures taken by TSA since it began.  Everything they do is reactive to attempts that have been tried and failed by the Muslim fanatics. It has been pure dumb luck that has kept anything from happening so far. Dumb luck and even dumber terrorists.

Yep.
Every terrorist and wouldbe terrorist on airplanes has been a Muslim, whether born or converted.  Every. Single. One.
But by all means let's not hurt their delicate sensibilities.  Let's play "fair" by groping 80-year old handicapped men and 3-year old girls.
