Clinton critical of religious freedom in Europe
« on: November 18, 2010, 01:04:48 PM »
Quote
WASHINGTON (AFP) – US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton criticized Wednesday the state of religious freedom in Europe, as Washington highlighted policies and attitudes toward Muslim veils and Islam as a whole.

"Several European countries have placed harsh restrictions on religious expression," Clinton said, without elaborating as she unveiled the State Department's report on international religious freedom for the last year.

Her assistant secretary for human rights, Michael Posner, cited France's ban on wearing the niqab and other face coverings in public places and a Swiss motion passed last year that bans building new minarets.

Both measures have been criticized as intolerant moves stigmatizing Europe's growing Muslim population.
Posner acknowledged "growing sensitivity and tension in Europe" over Islam.

Hey Hillary!   :bird:  We haven't had nearly the problems faced by Europe from allowing the Muslims takeover of their countries. Give it time, and you will start seeing that backlash here. They don't adapt to the societies they invade, they try and force those societies to adapt to them, and they do so by using their own laws against them.

Funny how we really haven't heard anything from Hillary regarding persecution of the Christian community in Iraq.

In the liberal world HRC inhabits, Christians don't count, whites don't count, straights don't count, Americans against illegal aliens invading our nation don't count, ad nauseum.  If there is a common sense decent position, Clinton, Zer0, Janet Incompatano (got that one from Mark Steyn when he hosted for Rush late last week and I LUV it), Eric "Attorney General" Holder :whatever:et al will be AGAINST said decent common sense position.

What is going to happen when the lazy freeloaders "persecuted minorites" (damn near anyone can claim THAT status as it's been so debased these past 30 years) outnumber hardworking, taxpaying proud American citizens?  Hint:  See California.  Gawd, can you imagine the shit that state is gonna be in after a few years of Jerry "I Banged Linda Ronstadt When We Were Both Young and Not Quite as Craaazy as Now" Brown?
Sneaking into a country doesn't make you an immigrant any
more than breaking into someone's house makes you part of the family.

Adjusted for age.
