The only part I loathe is going through McKinney and that's because of all of the construction at 380 and again at 121.......

other than that, it's really not a bad drive unless one gets caught in rush hour traffic. I've driven/ ridden that road since I can remember, although it was a little different when I was little. The four lane Hwy 75 use to end in McKinney and re-routed east on 121 to what is now Hwy 5.

TVDOC, DAT, and I all live in Missouri - I think Doc is over near the KC side, I'm in north-central MO, and DAT is, um, not sure. Maybe Springfield?

I would definitely enjoy a meetup and maybe pop a few caps (firearms) in the process.

I'm right under the "O" in "Terra Incognita" on your state map.   :-) 

j/k, I'm a bit over an hour SSW of Rolla, nowhere near any actual town.  Maybe we can get something like htat going with Doc and anyone else in the area when warm weather returns, I'm up for it.

No kidding!  Had my son-in-law and sons out shooting last Christmas, and our cold endurance barely lasted as long as the available ammo (We did kinda go through a lot of ammo, taking two warming breaks inside with the womenfolk to try and convince them they weren't entirely ignored).

Hey now!!! I lived in Minnesota for a total of 18 years....... don't even talk to me about "cold"........  Bitchslap for not addressing/ or remembering that.... Missouri hardly gets that "cold" like up North. Last winter was a rare exception, even down here !!

I think DAT lives somewhere south of Columbia in the direction of Ft, Leonard Wood, "BattleHymn" also  lives here too, but I'm not sure where, maybe over closer to St. Louis.

A meet-up would be fun.....
