Neck tie...... I wore a Continental Bow tie when I was in concert band. I have a pic of when I was 2 when I wore a bow tie. I've been wearing neck ties since I was 12. I tie a true 4 in hand knot, too.


What exactly is a "continental bow tie"?

I never understood why it's called a "bow tie" but here's a pic, only ours didn't have the pearl snap, just a hidden snap:

I thought so, too. However, it wasn't MY decision. That was the uniform requirements for the concert band.

I like either style to town wear, but a neckscarf is what I prefer to see.
