One of the stupidest things I have ever seen someone write

In my local paper, they have a "speak out" section in which people can write in their opinions. Today someone wrote in the following "To the person who said "Health care is a human right" it is a privilege, not a human right. The founder did not put it in the constitution because they believed it was an issue for the states. It's called the 10th Amendment." Is it just me or is this really really stupid? For one the founders were lucky to have a doctor, they didn't even dream about a health care system. If people can't even get a simple fact like that down, how are we supposed to trust them to vote the right people into office?

Hmmm.  One wonders who the "right people" are?

One suspects there's going to be a lot of the "right people" being elected into office next week.
apres moi, le deluge

Milo Yiannopoulos "It has been obvious since 2016 that Trump carries an anointing of some kind. My American friends, are you so blind to reason, and deaf to Heaven? Can he do all this, and cannot get a crown? This man is your King. Coronate him, and watch every devil shriek, and every demon howl."

No doubt if this DUmmy were alive during the 18th century, he'd be crying for his subsidized horse-and-buggy and free leech treatments for the less fortunate.

Or some guy could just sell him some snake oil to cure all his ills. He wouldn't even know it was poison until he swallowed it. :whatever:

Boy was those the good old days...DUmmies died young, very young.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin
