I thought this one was droll given their clinging to the nanny state in every other area of life:

With all the "security warnings" this is a question that has to be asked.

And I'm going to bed now, so I'll take the answer off the air as they say on Talk of the Nation.

Added and lifted from another forum:

"A little perspective:

Number of people dead from terrorist attacks in the U.S. or Europe since 9/10/01:

Less than 3,400

Number of people dead in the U.S. from traffic accidents since 2001:

More than 336,000"

Traffic deaths will only continue to rise if Lord Zero has his way. His CAFE standards will result in smaller lighter cars which will increase traffic deaths.  He also wants to raise CAFE to 47, then eventually to 60 MPG.

The people who want to dictate your salt intake demand you accept for terrorists in your streets.

Dear Lurking DUmbasses,

The COTUS creates and army and navy because we do not have to accept people using violence to impose their designs on our liberty.

THAT is where it says we need not tolerate the risk of jihadists in our midst.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

Commerce Clause.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Commerce Clause.

Yep, the founding fathers made a big mistake with that one.  They meant only that the federal government would have the right to regulate items that crossed between states.  Modern statists have stretched it to a point that is far beyond absurdity.

Risk isn't mentioned in the Constitution.  Neither are Monopoly, Chess, Checkers, or Backgammon.  However Life is, in the 5th Amendment.
