Gutierrez said Obama pledged to "leave no stone unturned" and use the "full might" of the White House to secure passage of the authorization bill and the DREAM Act therein.

"He couldn't have been clearer," Gutierrez said.

From the link;
Menendez and Reps. Nydia Velazquez (D-N.Y.) and Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.) met with the president at the White House on Thursday afternoon to discuss the ongoing Senate negotiations over the Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors (DREAM) Act and its inclusion in the defense authorization bill.
I got an idea!!!
Menendez, Velazquez and Gutierrez = GO **** YOURSELVES!!! :bird: :bird: :censored:
I am so sick of these people passing bills that the American people do not want and passing bills that do nothing but hurt the Country. :censored:

7. The DREAM Act does not require that an illegal alien serve in the military as a condition for amnesty, and There is ALREADY A Legal Process In Place For Illegal Aliens to Obtain U.S. Citizenship Through Military Service

Interesting when I wonder what degree these kids will go for.  If they are anything like  some American students they will Major in Basket Weaving and Play Therapy for the Elderly.

I don't know why I get so angry when our American kids spend 4 years to graduate with a degree in Recreation.

Why should Illegal almost adults take up seats at little cost from American kids that come from poor family's and may want and have the ability to follow a carear path that will help our country.

Not a weird idea for me to imagine most of the Illegals that do in fact become professionals, Doctors Nurses, Math Majors  will take their degree home and benefit their own country---AS an American citizen or not.

If I as an American have the money to send my kid to a 4 year college and can pay full price that is my decision---Get the kids out of my hair for 4 years, worth the money at any price.

However, I do not come from that Class of folk and if I have a child that can become productive with an education and some Illegals waltz in taking  seats from the gifted, my child your child--- that  burns me big time.

OK so we mandate that only the Illegals that are at the top of their class, and major in brain surgery can get a cheap education.  They have to sign over 6 years to working for the government in their major, then what---who is going to force them to live up to the agreement.

I fear we may educate the children of our enemy's so in the future they will go home and use their education against us.

Re reading this is a bitch, you know I almost sound like a Southerner that votes to exclude Black children from learning to read or write in the early 1700's.

Perhaps I need to rethink my stance.
  Life is very complicated.
