On the other hand, isn't it a bit odd that Limbaugh would discuss this story on his nationally syndicated radio show and yet not at least disclose that they went to school together? This wouldn't have been an indictment. He could have said, "Folks, I went to school with this guy, and he wasn't this crazy back then."

Of course, it's possible that Limbaugh honestly didn't realize this was the same Terry Jones, but that's unlikely. Cape Girardeau, like many Midwestern towns, is a small, tight-knit community. The Limbaughs are like royalty there, and Rush's brother David still practices law there.

More likely, Limbaugh chose to simply not disclose the background, hoping it would go unnoticed. There's nothing unethical about that, in my estimation, but it is, at least, weirdly secretive.

I guess we will hav
He spoke about this  on his show and said the left would make is sound shifty.

I went to high school with 3000-4000 other people.  Am I supposed to know each one individually?

Hell if Obama could sit in the same church for however many years and not notice that his pastor was a nut job it is possible that Rush may not recall a kid from school decades ago. The only difference is it is more likely that Rush may not recall Terry from 40 years ago.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Are they super serial? Outside my ex fiancee and a few close friends, I wouldn't recognize any of my graduating class at this point. And this was 8 years ago. Not 30.

This is the msm way to eventually get to blame Rush for the Koran incident.

Lucky you.  I went to a "smallish" high school, and we had over 500 in my graduating class.

That's like saying I knew everyone I went to Power School with, 22 years ago.  All 625 who started (or 475 who graduated--take your pick.)

I graduated in a class of 12, and I know that 2 of our class have died.  I wouldn't know any of the others if one of them walked up and hit me.

But, of course, I'd immediately recognize an unusual name like Terry Jones and connect it to a classmate...    :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

Not just fully know them, but be responsible for ALL for their actions for their entire lives too!

A year and a half after I left one high school and  went to another, I ran across a friend that I was fairly close to in high school  when I was in Millington, TN. First, I saw his wife. She seemed familiar, but I couldn't place where I knew her. A couple of weeks later, I ran across the husband. It took me a minute, but I finally recognized him. He was wearing a Marine uniform.

Hell, even one of the guys I went to the same school with was in boot camp with me, but three weeks behind me. He was even in the Drum and Bugle Corps, as was I. We BOTH didn't realize that until last year.

I call BS. I went to school with a guy that killed 8 people. Does that make me a serial killer? I didn't even know the guy had it in him until I read it in the paper. It actually happened like a mile from my parent's house. Funny thing was that I actually worked with him at the restaurant 2 months before he started slaughtering people. Seemed like a normal guy.

Made me think long and hard about the people I associated with. There are nuts out there!!  :mental:
