I fully expect more tribal like violence in all races in worsening economic conditions.
Attempting to "broad brush" a racial problem in order to diffuse the facts is disingenuous.......the "Great Depression" was arguably the worse economic conditions in the past century, and racial violence seemed to be noticeably absent........with the exception of the "Bonus Riot" of 1932.......which was actually government created.
Please provide us the details of the last "white riot" in the US (with the exception of the one cited above)........the last time white folks burned down their own businesses and neighborhoods because of a court decision.......or the actions of a police department, or a few officers, or even a sports team......It would be silly not to acknowledge that there are severe cultural problems in the "black community" (pretty much exclusively) in America today. I don't have the answers, but a problem exists.
The consistant theme in your discussions here seems to be your dissatisfaction with both sides of the political aisle, and to an extent you have a point. That said, it is further disingenuous to equate them as two sides of the same coin......they are not.......at least from our perspective, Democrats/liberals/progressives/socialists are
far more dangerous to the Republic than are a few RINO's that we conservatives have to deal with.
I can speak only for myself, however I see (labels optional) the optimum political scenario in the US as a two party system with the main players being the "Republicans", and the "Conservatives"........the "left" as it is manifesting itself in America today must only be crushed into political oblivion.....cast into the dustbin of history. We are involved in a "war against liberalism", let us pray that it remains a war of "words"
Perhaps you equivocate thusly to present a persona of "rational discussion"........if so, it is certainly appreciated, however, "straddling the fence" euphemistically on a conservative message board, accomplishes little to resolve issues.......it simply generates meaningless dialog., and fosters in some of us a suspicion of a "hidden agenda".
Many of us have read thoroughly your posts and discussions at OET, and DU, and when we logically compare your stated positions on issues there, with that which your proffer here.......the suspicion becomes inevitable,. particularly when we recall the remarks you made about this site and its members on OET the last time you graced us with your presence.
This is certainly not stated to make you feel unwelcome.....quite the reverse.....we welcome all reasonable and intelligent discussions........this is stated to simply remind the membership that you have been less than straightforward with us in the past.
