Honestly...I didn't really cry, but I wimpered a little bit. I don't cry much at all. Once in a blue moon. I don't really feel like a ***** for admitting to wimpering either. Being there....it was like all the news footage came flooding back, and I seemed to hear the sirens. I can only imagine what members of the FDNY feel like going past there.
I thanked every single construction crew member in a neon yellow shirt I saw for being there day and night working on it.
It really is something that will modify your outlook on life in general, Fire. At least that's how I felt. I feel even MORE anger towards the hijackers, and those that think like them now.
I have one, or maybe 2 more that I could post, Chris, but they didn't turn out real well...
They have a yellow tint.
You get another decade or two under your belt and you won't feel like a ***** for admitting that some things make you cry.
