My granddaughter, Evie
« on: March 25, 2008, 06:24:24 PM »
Evana Charlotte was born Saturday, March 22.  She weighed 7 lbs. 12 ounces and is 19 and a half inches long.  My DIL's blood pressure has been a bit elevated, so she and the baby have yet to be released from the hospital.  Other than that, all is well.

I have had my 4 yr old grandson since Friday.  This kid is awesome!  We've been enjoying some very nice quality time.  I figured he would need it since he's about to become a diaper slave (his Mommy: "will you get me a diaper please?") before long!

This is her hospital pic taken yesterday.  She looks like my DIL and her side of the family but I still see a bit of my son in her.

My sister-in-law and I maintain the only civilized way to have a baby is by c-section. All 3 of my babes had big old round melon heads and they looked like they were 3 months old when they were born.  :-)

All of mine had pointy heads because they were born the NORMAL way.

Sure they were. They just had pointy heads and you had to make something up real quick.  :-)

Mine were born the "normal" way, and only one had a pointy head...that could be because pushing with her was twice as long as the other two combined!  The others didn't have time to get squished!

Actually, my last one was pulled out of me (they wouldn't let me push) so she didn't really have a pointy head.

She's beeeeeeutiful!  Your DIL has good taste in clothes!  That dress is so pretty, without being "over the top".....

And what a good grandma you are!  My Mom simply wouldn't keep either of my kids that long, and I wouldn't let my MIL.
