Some of the names being exalted here. Ugh.

Will Pitt? I was here in December 2002 (I posted more back then) when he posted one of the ugliest threads in DU history. Called out his then-fiancee (not his current wife) as a "narcissistic c*nt" (he DID NOT censor it), and complained in brutal terms how she was "crying narcissistic tears". Over what? Their wedding plans. The woman he supposedly loved, above all others, being vilified in the most degrading terminology possible. Now, I always caught a whiff of misogyny in his posts, but this was concrete evidence.

Naturally, there was a major flame war, and the thread was removed. But those of us who remember it, recall it was the day the Bloom Fell Off the Will Pitt Rose. Another meltdown like that by him was not seen again until the Rove indictment fiasco. Alcohol is not his friend.

There are others in this thread being celebrated I know some sick, verifiable shit about, but DU rules forbid me from calling them out. But I am happy knowing that more of us know the truth than not.

It's remarkable, the similarities in the list of those the primitives consider "celebrities," and the lists of the top primitives, or DUmmies, the past several years.
