Director Oliver Stone belittled the Holocaust during a shocking interview with the Sunday Times today, claiming that America's focus on the Jewish massacre was a product of the "Jewish domination of the media."

The director also defended Hitler and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and railed against the "powerful lobby" of Jews in America.

Stone said that his upcoming Showtime documentary series "Secret History of America," seeks to put Hitler and Communist dictator Joseph Stalin "in context."

The beauty of this is that if the project is blackballed or stonewalled, Stone can claim it is all due the Jooooos having a stranglehold on media.  Clever construction of a Catch-22 for any voices of sanity, I have to admit.

I do have to say the deification of Allied WWII efforts in the past few years are a troubling departure from reality, having grown up listening to what actually happened from the people who lived it, but anybody who thinks Hitler was 'Misunderstood' is only right insofar as too many of the Germans themselves misunderstood his depravity until it was too late to turn back.

Maybe.  Still, perhaps this is Stone's brain-damaged way of telling us that cults of personality can be a good thing, as long it is the right Dear Leader.  As I recall, he is total Obama worshipper, and so maybe he is trying to rehabilitate the ol' Fuehrerprinzip for his own chosen Dear Leader.
