Man attempts to hold up gas station with caulk gun

The suspect -- who police later identified as Jose Alejandro Romero, 17 -- fled the scene in the company of a transgender prostitute he’d picked up earlier in the evening, according to an affidavit issued by the Travis County Sheriff’s Office.

The other man, later identified as Kenneth Williams told police that Romero had picked him up from the street before the attempted robbery, the affidavit said.

Williams spent the night driving around with Romero as he got money from several locations including his mobile home to buy and smoke crack, the affidavit said.

Police confirmed Romero’s identity yesterday when they visited his mobile home where his mother also lives, the affidavit said.

Not Florida

I guess the police will be kept busy filling in the paperwork on these two.

It's only the beginning of the investigation, I'm sure a good prosecutor will be able to seal the deal

No pun........just wanted to say that my son has been using my caulking guns to play "war" since he was little. They were his submachine guns. I hope he gets smarter than this dude as he grows up.

Hey, maybe the dude was smarter than I thought. If he had gotten shot, he could just caulk up the holes so he wouldn't leak so bad.

It looks like a sticky situation to me.....
