I don't mind the differences. It keeps it more suspenseful for me. Plus, what's his name (Tara's cousin) would have been dead in the back of Andy's car, and the show wouldn't be half as entertaining without him.

Yes, Lafayette cracks me the hell up! I can't imagine him not being part of the show.

I thought the Viking twist in last week's episode was great!  I can't wait to see Eric destroy them all.  I love Franklin!  He should win an Emmy for his character next year!  I have never seen anything so poetic on TV!  Lafayette is getting a boyfriend!  I love that guy!  You know, at this point I would be ok with them killing off Sookie and I will still watch it!  Alan Ball is my newest hero!

The only purpse Sookie seems to serve is bringing all these crazies together. Franklin is something else. The actor who plays him is wonderful. He creeps me out bigtime, but I think that is just good acting. It will also be interesting to see how Sam and his family work this out (or not). But still, I would love to see Sookie with Bill, Eric, OR Sam.  :thatsright:

Last night was exciting.  Tara should try out for the Yankees with a swing like that.  I am still hoping that the vampire blood will pop that mashed apple back into a normal shape!  Alcide was naked.  I love Jessica more and more every show.  She was soooooooooo irritating when she was first made.

Tara wasn't messing around!!! Oh my! It was hard for me to watch her tearing at Franklin's neck.

It was definitely bloody last night. With Lorena, Bill, Franklin... I can't wait to see how things will be with Sookie and Bill, and if once Eric gets his revenge, he will come apologizing to Sookie.

And I had no clue it would be pitbull fighting that caused Sam's brother to be all scarred up.

Jessica is definitely maturing as a vampire. I, like you, am liking her more and more. AND YES Alcide!!! I was wondering when he was going to show back up! I am in love!

Tara should have taken the time to stake Franklin while she had the chance. I doubt his smashed head will be fatal. I expect that Sookie will be staking Lorena in the opening scene next week.

I wondered if smashing a vampires head would kill him. Didn't look like there was much head left, but that will be interesting to see. And yes Sookie HAS to kill Lorena. Unless somehow Bill can come back and save her. It showed Sookie in the hospital next episode and Bill there, so I wonder if Sookie saves Bill or the other way around. OR if someone else saves them both.

Those were the tamest gay scenes ever.  If it was two hot girls you would probably still be drooling!  If the series stays somewhat true to the books it is almost all said and done for Sookie and Bill (well until they decide it isn't) and Eric should be making a huge mess in that pretty mansion.

Oooh I can't wait!!!! I get so disappointed when the show ends. I guess I want it to continue for hours.

Ok, we didn't talk about the girl Jason is interested in. Is she a werewolf? It seems like her fiance is abusive, but he looked all beat up himself.

According to the book, SPOILER for those who don't want to know, DO NOT READ Further!!!!  If you do, DO NOT BLAME ME.

Supposedly Crystal and her kin are some sort of werepanthers (I think it's panther) and Jason later gets bitten by her old boyfriend and turned into one himself.  That's the book version though so who knows with the series on tv.

Woah!! Quite interesting. I haven't read the books. From what I've heard, the tv series keeps some things the same and veers away from others. But that puts a whole new spin on things. Interesting. I am not sure I'd like to see Jason go that route, but hey, it might make it even better.

In the books that twist is really interesting.  I hate that they don't have a full 24 episode season.  It drives me freaking nuts!

Ok, let's talk about last night. So much going on. What in the world is Sookie? And what was that near death experience about? It obviously gives us a clue about her and who she is.

I am ready for Jackson MS dude (can't think of his name) to be done away with. He is too power hungry.  Eric needs to go ahead and take him down.

Tara has turned all bad-ass. And Jason cracks me up. Trying to get meth for the guy in jail. Only Jason.

Oh, and it was EXTRA bloody last night. I had to turn my head quite a bit.

SPOILER ALERT

Sookie is part fairy.  Those were fairies in fairy world in her dream/vision thing.  Claudine (the fairy) is in the series with her twin brother Claude.

And they are both Sookie's cousins. Or second cousins. That flashy shit from the hands didn't happen in the books, but it is a cool effect.

Ummmm I have to say that last night's episode was traumatizing for me.  I mean I LOVE to see Eric Northman all naked and stuff but welllllllllll....  I guess the end result was worth it.  There is just so much whiny gayness a person can handle!

I wasn't expecting that. But, it is getting even better. So glad he has started his revenge. This should be interesting. Russell is going to flip his lid. I  mean he made Talbot, and he's been with him for 700 years.

I am kinda getting bored with the whole Sam situation. So I hope that goes somewhere quick.

And I suppose Bill and Sookie made up!! lol!

And now I am so not trusting Jesus (that sounds horrible lol!! NOT THE Jesus people!!) He's got something up his sleeve. Just don't know what.

Jason is bound to be in for some trouble. This can't end well. But we'll see. That girl is kinda weird looking to me. Sometimes she's cute, and then sometimes she's freaky looking. Maybe that is why they picked her for the part. BUT I LOVE this show!!!

The gay sex aside, it was a damn good way to get to Talbot (pun not intended). Not only did he kill Russell's man, but he killed him while having sex with him. Double wammy (again pun not intended :P)!!

Wasn't enough lube so Eric had to stake him to get some goo going on. :lmao:

I'm pretty sure he was already in the process of banging him when he staked him.
