(South Texas) Mexican Mafia attacks happening in Valley

Down in the Valley, the valley so low...

http://www.brownsvilleherald.com/news/mexican-112198-early-valley.html

excerpted

One night in early April, Bobby Leal, Israel Banda, Abraham Serna and another unidentified suspect put a gun to someone’s head, beat and stabbed him repeatedly, then left him for dead in front of the Harlingen Sports Complex.

Roughly one week later, violence broke out again in Harlingen when Leal and Alfredo Aguilar attempted to kidnap a Harlingen man at gunpoint outside his brother’s house. Aguilar was shot in the stomach and taken to the hospital after the victim fought back. Both Aguilar and Leal were arrested soon after the incident.

What has concerned local police is both the violent nature of these two incidents and that the crimes appear to be connected to one of the largest and most violent gangs in Texas.

Court records and interviews with local enforcement show that the participants in both attacks were members the Mexican Mafia

This isn't new to those of us down here- just news to everyone else. Even the local papers ignored it, immigration crime was not PC.

Tamaulipas investigators on Sunday found four men executed in Matamoros and Mexican marines rescued seven men and one woman in a stash house, Mexican authorities reported.

The Tamaulipas Timely Information Center reported four men executed early Sunday morning. Two were found at the intersection of 14th Street and Diagonal Cuauhtemoc, while two others were found on the southern part of Sixth Avenue. All four were shot to death.

In a separate incident, the Mexican navy announced the successful rescue of seven men and one woman from a stash house. The rescue came as a result of an ongoing investigation by naval intelligence and resulted in the arrest of seven members of the Lagrimas kidnapping gang, a press release from the navy stated.
The investigation is related to a May 3 rescue by Mexican marines in Matamoros in which 17 individuals were rescued from two stash houses.

And again with the helicopter-

ROMA — U.S. Border Patrol agents spotted a Mexican military helicopter hovering over U.S. territory on Saturday.

Agents saw the helicopter near the Roma-Miguel Alemán International Bridge about midday, said Rick Pauza, a spokesman with U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

LA JOYA — Police found 23 suspected illegal immigrants during a stash house raid Monday morning.

Police called U.S. Border Patrol agents for assistance and found 23 people inside the yellow house with burglar bars on the windows, Cantu said.
Police said five women and 18 men were turned over to Border Patrol agents. The suspected illegal immigrants told officers they were aged from their late teens to early 30s and are from Mexico, El Salvador and Honduras.

You know, yell, threaten with boycotts and generally harass the legal inhabitants of a state like Arizona, who is trying to enforce not only her borders, but those of the United States of America.  We love our state, and our country, although it's quite obvious the Obama administration DOES NOT.

I would like to believe that the reason Perry says we don't need a law like Arizona is because he knows he needs Hispanic votes to make this election.  I am not so sure it is.

I bet lots of legal immigrants would support a law against the illegals in Texas, like they do in Arizona.  Either way, it's a shame and a testament to the political mindset that all most of these people do is try to win their next election instead of protecting and defending the country.

Around here, the legal immigrants (and their descendants) are adamant that the illegals be stopped.  I suspect it's the same everywhere along the border.  The illegals pass right through here-the dogs catch a few every spring- and head straight for sanctuary cities. The population around here is too small to disappear.
Perry is correct in that the first defense is the border; stop them there AND enforce the immigration laws. The fence was a farce. The only part that worked was shut down.
Without the manpower/equipment necessary to close the border, even the harshest laws are ineffective.
Border ranchers have received death threats for reporting any illegal activities to law enforcement.  Many borderland owners have chosen to remain silent and not report the threats for fear of retaliation. Texas ranchers along the border fear they may be targets of kidnappings for ransom. (http://www.texasinsider.org/?p=26165)
The Obama administration is never going to address this from our side; but they'll sure as hell protect the illegals.
I don't expect anything to change for us. We're on our own.

Which is why their time - Republican and Communist alike - must be brought to an end if we are to save what's left of the Republic.

Watching Rand Paul kick azz in KY is one harbinger.  And if Specter wins his race it'll be sheer luck, and maybe the fact that Zer0 didn't come hold his hand these past few days.
