Quote
A truck driver jumped to safety from his burning tractor-trailer in a three-car pileup this afternoon at the Interstate 35E interchange with State Highway 121 in Lewisville.

The name of the trucker's company: Leap of Faith Transportation.

The accident occurred about 1:18 p.m. when the semi collided with a dump truck. The fiery crash burned the trailer to slag and left the cab dangling over a bridge on the northbound ramp to Highway 121......

I hate to suggest this, but I am beyond pissed off at the way people drive in Texas any more. During the 70s and 80s, Texas had the "Drive Friendly" thing going. People were generally courteous and followed the rules of the road. That mentality no longer exists. Having had to go back and forth to Dallas a couple of time this week, people drive like a bunch of MORONS. It's even worse with the many truckers on the road. I've acquired a strong loathing for truck drivers any more. Hwy 75 just sucks because of them and the inconsiderate, self-absorbed idiot drivers.

I haven't been through Houston since 1986. I'm also going to say that it's not something limited to Texas, but I've seen it up in Minnesota, too. I'd be cruising at 70 MPH, headed North on I-94 and  tractor-trailers would pull in front of me (in the left lane), doing 55-60 MPH. And the car drivers up there are just as bad, except this one woman who drives a Crown Vic.......(an old lady's car)  :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Aren't a lot of police vehicles Crown Victoria's?

Nah, Houston should have at least took a stab at a little thing called Zoning... just a tad would have helped.

They both suck.

Girlfriend and I were going to Frisco to catch a baseball game last night and missed it. 3 hour back up because 121 was shut down. Should have gone to Dallas and gone to the last home Stars game, even with the probably exorbitant ticket prices.
