Has anyone else scarfed on the Wickes bankruptcy sale?

Wickes furniture stores are having a bankruptcy sale and everything is discounted 30-60%. I have bought some beautiful furniture in the last couple of weeks for about half of the original asking price. The first thing i bought was a fantastic solid oak dresser that was normally about $600. I got it for $275. I got matching oak sofa and end tables a couple days ago. Im checking other stores in the area today looking for other deals.

*Salivates* I had no idea they were going out of business. Of course that seems to be the norm in the furniture world....

Sadly, they are not anywhere near me.

I did score some stuff when Bombay and Co. went under recently though.
I can see November 2 from my house!!!

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

I am so jazzed. I found the second matching end table I have been looking for. I bought the sofa table by itself originally then loved how it looked and hadto track down the rest of the set. I ended up getting each subsequent piece at seperate stores. Oh and new cherry bookcases too. One of my sons walks thru the living room and said "This is sorta creepy dad...everything matches in here now."
