Wacky Wednesday
« on: March 31, 2010, 12:27:49 PM »
Cold and rainy here. Woke up to sleet (grapple??) this morning. More of the same for the rest of the week, including Easter Sunday.
So much for spring.   :banghead:
“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

Rainy and cool here, but it's supposedly going to warm up tomorrow into Good Friday and the Easter Tritium.  My bronchitis is getting better, as I don't feel quite as loagy today.  (Having levaquin and bunches of Vitamin C cough drops helps.)  Over three hours of choir practice tonight, though.  We've got that much music to go over, and our choir director wants to get the absolute best sound he can get out of us.  20+ years ago, he sang in the choir at our church.  Now it's his turn to lead.

Sunny and warm. Mowed the girlfriend's front yard and now I'm relaxing and trying figure out what to have for lunch. Might go hit up the new Buffalo Wild Wings.

Sunny and upper 60's....it's a glorious day in the neighborhood!

Went to Mass at noon, out to lunch with my honey, and to the store to get plastic eggs and candy to stuff in them for the Church Easter egg hunt on Sunday.

Supposed to be in mid 70's tomorrow.

Deer are frolicking about, daffodils are bobbing, Bradford Pears, Flowering Cherries and Tulip trees are almost in full bloom. Grass is greening up nicely and trees are budding out. Spring has sprung at the foot of the Great Smokies!

Probably snow in the next couple of weeks....it almost always does!  :lmao:
Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....

A balanced diet is chocolate in both hands.

Just heard from BC/BS. Been approved for a decent (to me anyways) health insurance plan for the bankrupting monthly premium of $89 a month. A whole $3 more than my quote because... I admit it... I need to lose about 60 pounds (6'4", 290). Those greedy bastards.

I think Verizon charges more for internet and cable TV...

Uh yeah, especially if you have FIOS.  But well worth it.   :-)

The girlfriend has Fios internet, but no TV. Not sure what she pays, and I'm sure I don't want to know. Glad I live where all my bills are part of my rent.
