Looks like there's a pup who doesn't get a whole lot of playtime...but WTF is the cop doing just sitting there letting that dog chew off the bumper?

According to the AP, the dog has to go through obedience training.  He's normally fenced in but got out somehow.

What I want to know is this:  What did the cop driver's co-workers say about said "serving as a chew toy?"

Dogs are stupid, particularly when they chase cars.  Cats are much smarter.  They run away from the 2 ton pieces of rolling metal that can squish them.

Bullshit...they just crawl up the engine block for warmth, and wait until the human starts the car to become diced kitty.

I lost a couple of cats when I was a kid like that.
